Hal­loween and gi­ant pump­kins!

The clay land and sunny south fac­ing slope makes our land ideal for pump­kins and squash. Our largest pump­kins weighed up to 30kg, and the or­ange fruit was per­fect for pick­ling. Re­mem­ber, that many va­ri­eties may be bred for dec­o­ra­tion as a pri­or­ity over use for food. Al­ways choose an older va­ri­ety of gi­ant pump­kin for the best soups and pick­les.
