Green, yellow and striped zucchinis are growing at Perho Green City Farm. Excellent for lasagne, grilling and other vegetarian meals!
When you grow squash, just remember to keep harvesting the young fruits at least twice a week as they develop. This will encourage the plant to produce more. If you leave the squash fruit on the plants they will just quickly grow too big to even carry home. When eaten young the fruit is fresh and crispy, as it matures it becomes more pithy and begins to produce seed
