Grasshoppes in Chocolate with Sea Salt and Waffles with Buffalo

  1. Melt the Chocolate in a Bain marie.
  2. Remove the grasshoppers legs and wings.
  3. Hold the Grasshopper at the tail end and move the grasshopper through the melted chocolate. Serve the remaining chocolate with the waffles.
  4. Place the grasshoppers on the grid and sprinkle the grasshoppers with sea salt.
  5. Seive the flour, salt, cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
  6. Make a dimple in the middle and break the eggs in one by one.
  7. Stir them into a thick batter.
  8. Dilute the batter gradually with the milk and the melted butter until it is thin and fairly liquid.
  9. Dilute it even more with lukewarm water if necessary.
  10. Grease a waffle iron and fill it with batter.
  11. Bake the waffles quickly, always stir the batter before filling of the waffle iron.
  12. Sweeten the whipped cream with sugar. Spray the whipped cream next to the waffle.
  13. Sprinkle the waffle with powdered sugar and/or cinnamon to taste.

Hot waffles are most delicious. Serve the waffles with mint, blueberries and strawberries.
